The Energy Transfer Process is referred to as Net-Metering and is achieved through PUD's Digital Meter Located on the Side of Your Home where your utilities connect to your house.
The following shows how to read your PUD Bill when your New Solar System is Generating Electricity over your Usage. The Electricity then gets sent back to the GRID for Credits to be used when your Usage is high. It's like having a backup system without the expense.
If you don’t have Credits, then you simply just buy electricity from PUD/PSE as usual and it will appear on your electric bill.
